Angela paints from her personal experience with her subject; capturing the immediate response  that her subject offers makes her paintings diversified.  If color and light are what excites her about a subject then that is what she paints.  Other times it is the structure of the subject, which may entail a detailed drawing. 

Her travels, love of flowers, sailing, the water, New York City and her home on Long Island  are all reflected in her work. Color is also very specific to the reaction she has toward her subject. Never relying on a set palette of  colors, techniques, supports or subject matter is what sets her paintings apart.  Each  paintings is unique, many are painted in a series, where a subject is painted several times, allowing her to fully explore its  many aspects.
